General
1. Complete the Application form (click to download)
2. Forward application form to AEC’s International Office with the following:
(a) Attach 3 copies of all pages of your passport
(b) Attach 6 recent passport size photographs
(c) Attach 2 certified copies of all academic qualifications and professional achievements
(d) A Bankers Draft of US$80 payable to “Institute Name
3. Upon receiving the application fees, the college will issue Offer Letters within 10 working days from the date of application.

Receiving an Offer
Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Offer, which will provide information on course start dates, course fees, etc. Student will have to formally indicate their acceptance of the offer.

Immigration Approval Letter
Once we have sent you the Letter of Offer, the College will then apply for an approval (for international student to study in Malaysia) from the Malaysian Immigration. Notification from the Immigration Department will be known in approximately 4-6 weeks. It is for this reason we advise you to apply at least 6 weeks before intake dates.

Payment of Tuition Fees
1. These fees are subject to revision without any prior notice. Always ask for the current fee at the time of registration.
2. Foreign students are required to pay the full fees prior to the classes commencing.

Refund of Fees
1. All administration fees paid are not refundable (ie. foreign students processing, visa renewal fees, application fees, registration fees and exam fees )
2. Tuition fees paid are refundable in full, only in cases where any student’s application for a student visa has been rejected by the authorities.
3. In all other cases, tuition fees paid are refundable where written notice is received by the Principal and the amount of fees refundable is subject to the following:-
(a) Notice received 30 days or more before the commencement of the course, 70% of the tuition fees paid is refundable.
(b) Notice received less than 30 days before the commencement of the course. 50% of the tuition fees paid is refundable.
(c) There is no refund once the course has commenced. However the student may request to either transfer his unutilized portion of fees paid to another course or to defer his studies to a date not later than six (6) months from the time of his request to defer.

Visa & Immigration Conditions


1.

You are not required to prepare apply for student pass/visa from the Malaysia High Commission in your country. The college will make the application for you within with the Malaysian Immigration Department Once your application is processed and approved; you will be sent a copy of the approval letter by the college which you should use during your trip to Malaysia. You should NOT come to Malaysia prior to the approval by the Immigration Department and until you been notified by the college.

2.

You are also required prepare a REFUNDABLE PERSONAL BOND payable to “College or University”. Depending on the country you are coming from, the personal bond amount varies. The College will notify you of the exact amount to be paid. This bond is a requirement by the Malaysian Immigration Department. It will duly return to you upon the completion of your studies.

A student visa is only permitted for applicants who are undertaking full time study.

4.

International students are permitted to work in the country subject to conditions.

5.

Student visas are approved by the Malaysian Immigration Department for the approved period of study. The International Student Office of the college will assist students in renewing their visas.

6.

International students are required to study on a full time basis at our college.

7.

According to the Malaysian immigration regulations, after enrolling at one college, you are NOT ALLOWED TO TRANSFER to another. Social visit passes cannot be converted into student passes. Those holding a valid work permit can enroll for part-time classes upon approval from the Immigration Department.

Travel Arrangements to Malaysia
1. As soon as the Student Visa/Pass has been approved a copy of the Approval Letter will be couriered to you. The college will also send information to assist in the preparation for your departure.
2. Students have to inform the College of their flight details. They are urged, as far as possible, to avoid arriving in Malaysia during the weekends.
3. Students will be met at the Immigration checkpoint of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), and then brought to the hostel or student house.

Every student must take the admission test unless he/she meets the requirements of direct admission criteria set forth by the university. Students, having outstanding results in their previous exams, may be allowed to get them admitted in the university directly but it is not a fundamental right.
